It is characterised by enclosing walls and ballcapped piers, some of which have lampholders and steps. A number of monuments within the churchyard date from the 17th, 18th, and early 19th centuries and are of particular interest. The churchyard possesses group value due to its immediate proximity to the Romanesque section of the church.
