The cottages are constructed from whin rubble with a slate roof. The dressings differ across the terrace: three cottages feature stugged dressings, five have droved dressings, and one is dated J B 1810, also with droved dressings. Several cottages previously numbered 454, 457-60, and 463 have since been demolished or reconstructed.
