Description

Perhaps 1523, remodelled c.1590 and again in 17th and 18th cents. 3-storey, 6-window 18th cent. rubble - built front to street with Gibbs surround to doorpiece; L-plan to garden, ashlar, with angle oriel to wing; 4-storey crowstepped stair tower in re-entrant angle, fine mid-Georgian pedimented porch with arched doorpiece having rusticated architrave; interior of note. Restored Reginald Fairlie 1927. 18th century grotto in garden.
