Description

Late 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, T-plan villa with some round-headed openings and traceried windows. Harled with raised ashlar quoins and margins. Base and eaves courses. Stone mullions.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: advanced open pedimented gable to centre with round-headed bipartite stair window and raised centre, tripartite opening in gablehead; panelled timber door with plate glass fanlight and window above on return to left, and further door on return to right. Bay to left of centre with full-height margin enclosing window at ground and basket-arched window with fluted apron at 1st floor; similar bay to right.

W ELEVATION: symmetrical fenestration.

S ELEVATION: window to outer right at 1st floor.

N ELEVATION: blank.

Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows except to ground right and 1st floor return to left at E and to W. Grey slates. Cavetto-coped ashlar wallhead stacks with polygonal cans. Deeply overhanging eaves and plain bargeboarding.

BOUNDARY WALLS: semicircular-coped, coursed rubble boundary walls.
