West Pavilion To Harbour House, 427 High Street, Kirkcaldy

The East Pavilion to Harbour House, located at 431 High Street in Kirkcaldy, is a pair of single-storey, three-bay classical shops built in the mid-19th century. The exterior features painted ashlar and harl with stone cills, along with a base course, eaves cornice, and blocking course.

For No. 427, the south elevation facing High Street includes a pilastrade with three windows. The east elevation has a blocked cart arch to the right of the center and a door with flanking windows to the left.

No. 431 features a part-glazed door, which has been converted from a window, located to the left of the center, with windows in the center and right bays, separated by pilasters, and an additional pilaster on the outer left. The west elevation has two windows.

The shops have plate glass glazing in fixed display windows, and No. 431 is topped with a red tiled pyramidal roof. Decorative cast-iron downpipes with rainwater hoppers are also present.
