Description
201-205 High Street in Kirkcaldy is an early 19th-century, three-storey building with an attic, featuring a three-bay small tenement that includes shops on the ground floor. The exterior is finished in painted droved ashlar, with cill courses and an eaves cornice topped with a small blocking course.
The south elevation facing High Street has two modern shops on the ground floor and a pend entrance to the outer right. Above, there are three windows on each floor, with piended, slated dormer windows positioned over the outer bays. The windows are timber sash and case, displaying 12- and 16-pane glazing patterns. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with some cans.
