Description

Pitcairlie Lodge, built around 1840, is a single-storey structure made of whin rubble with freestone dressings. It features a low-pitched, broad-eaved roof covered with modern synthetic slates. The front elevation has two windows and a central semi-octagonal Roman Doric porch with chamfered angles. The windows have mullion and transom crosses with lattice glazing. Additionally, there are four plain gatepiers with low convex wing walls that span the Pitcairlie Burn.
