6 Lennox Row, Edinburgh

6 Lennox Row is an early 19th century single-storey cottage with a basement, featuring a piend roof and three bays. The front is constructed from droved ashlar with polished dressings, while the sides and rear are made of coursed rubble. The front has a rock-cut basement and a dividing course between the basement and the ground floor, along with an eaves cornice and a blocking course. The windows are architraved.

The principal elevation is regularly fenestrated and includes pilasters with fluted capitals at the corners. At the center, there is a Greek Doric porch with fluted columns and a full entablature that features metopes, triglyphs, and guttae, along with unfluted pilasters at the rear. The entrance has a glazed timber panelled door.

The windows have a four-pane glazing pattern and are made of timber sash and case. The roof is covered with graded grey slates, and there are stone coped wallhead stacks with octagonal cans.

The property also features two sets of stop-chamfered ashlar gatepiers, each with a basecourse and corniced and platformed caps, along with a low stone coped coursed rubble boundary wall.
