Description
This is a monumental semicircular-arched bridge, designed by Grainger and Miller around 1840. It carries Lennox Row over the former Edinburgh Leith and Granton Railway, which is now a cycle track. The bridge is constructed from rusticated coursed sandstone, with the spandrels treated radially. There is a projecting course at the springing line of the arch, and the bridge features battered pilasters with an entablature that continues as an ashlar-coped parapet to the roadway.
