Description
Lumquat Farmhouse is a mildly Jacobethan, two-storey L-plan farmhouse built around 1880. It features a gabled wing on the left side and is constructed from whinstone walling with galletting, complemented by freestone dressings. The farmhouse has slate roofs and stone stacks with set-offs, as well as skew gables that display an arrow-slit motif, with a finial at the apex of the left gable. The west and south elevations each have two windows, which are plain sashes, and the upper floor has a gabled treatment. There is a porch located in the angle of the L-plan.
