Description
The building is a square-plan lectern dovecot dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble, with some areas harled and dressed quoins. There is a stepped stone rat course or alighting ledge in parts. The entrance on the southwest side is buried due to a land slip, featuring a central stone door lintel and a renovated relieving arch above. There are remnants of the rat course or alighting ledge in various locations. The northwest and southeast walls are plain and also have a stepped rat course or alighting ledge. A square opening is located to the left of the northeast elevation. The dovecot has crowstepped gables and a partially moulded skewputt on the northwest elevation. It previously had a pantiled lean-to roof, which has since been removed as of 2002. The interior is now infilled with land slip and vegetation.
