24-26 Kirkbank Road, Burntisland

24-26 Kirkbank Road in Burntisland are two-storey, piend-roofed dwellings built in the later to late 19th century, forming a short terrace. The buildings feature an Italianate design with a central element that includes round-headed doors adorned with hoodmoulds, label-stops, and keystones, as well as a Venetian window with a hoodmould and keystone. There are large blank wall spaces between some of the bays. The construction consists of squared and snecked rubble with stone margins, a base and eaves course, polished ashlar mouldings, and stone mullions.

The west elevation, which serves as the entrance, is symmetrical with a slightly projecting center. It has deep-set doors on the left and right, both panelled and featuring semi-circular fanlights. To the right, there is a narrow light in a recessed wall, accompanied by a window and another window further to the right. Beyond these, there is a panelled door with a semi-circular fanlight, and a small window in a single-storey extension on the return. A panelled door with a plate glass fanlight is located to the south, with another window to the right in a recessed face, and a modern garage abutting the outer right side. To the left of the center, there are two windows, a panelled door with a semi-circular fanlight beyond, and a small window in a single-storey extension on the return. Another panelled door with a plate glass fanlight is situated to the north, with an additional window to the left in a recessed face, and a modern garage abutting the outer left side. The first floor features a Venetian window at the center, flanked by regular bays.

The north and south elevations are blank, while the east elevation has irregular bays. The windows are primarily sash and case with plate glass glazing, some featuring a 4-pane glazing pattern at the rear, and uPVC windows flanking the center doors. The roofs are covered with grey slates, and there are cavetto coped ashlar stacks with cans.
