Description

Mid to later 19th century. U-plan courtyard with converted stables, granary and vaulted cellar. Painted rubble with droved quoins, ashlar coped skews and block skewputt.

E RANGE:

SE ELEVATION: round-headed timber door to right and small pitch-roofed shop extension to left.

SW ELEVATION: 2 converted cart entrances with timber doors to centre and right, shop extension with display window and door to outer right;

2 round-headed windows to left.

N RANGE:

SE ELEVATION: lean-to range abutting rising ground to rear, wide timber doors to right and left.

INTERIOR: barrel-vaulted chamber into ground to rear of building.

4 small round-headed openings (blocked) at ground (2 each to NE and SW).

W RANGE:

NE ELEVATION: glazed segmental cart arches to right and left of centre, large timber sliding door to outer right further segmental cart arch with 2-leaf timber door to left. Hayloft openings above.

Mostly grey slates, corrugated iron to E range.
