Description
Rossie is a two-storey farmhouse with symmetrical Georgian origins, featuring additions to the south front from the mid-19th century. The building has whinstone walls with droved dressings and a south front that includes a gable forward on the right. It has slate roofs, skew gables, and a finial. The facade displays three windows, with paired lights on the first floor to the right, a rectangular dripmould, and a three-light stone bay on the ground floor, alongside a two-storey splayed bay to the left. There is a central porch with a crenellated parapet and single-storey extensions at the gable ends. The rear elevation retains original Georgian sash windows. The property is accessed via square stone gatepiers, with double wrought-iron gates and railings leading to the driveway, which are mid-Victorian in style.
