Description

The West Cartshed at Home Farm, Rossie House, dates from the later 18th century and is a two-storey structure built from rubble with freestone dressings. It features skew gables and scrolled skewputs adorned with rope mouldings, along with an end chimney and a slate roof. The north gable end has an external stone stair leading to a door. The courtyard elevation includes four segmental arched openings, one of which is blocked, with keyblocks and square piers. There are also small upper openings with plain surrounds, and a later dormer treatment has been added to the opening at the south end.
