Description

17th century. 2-storey, 2-bay house. Harled. Painted chamfered window and door surrounds.

NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central door; window to right. Small square window above door; 1st floor window to right. Threshold stone overlies open street drain.

NE ELEVATION: attached to Shoemaker's Cottage.

SE ELEVATION: not seen, 2001.

SW ELEVATION: attached to Tanbrae House.

4-pane and 2-pane timber sash and case windows. Timber panelled door. Pitched roof; slates. Raised skews. Curved skewputt to SW. Gable apex stacks; replacement to NE; polygonal and circular cans.
