Description
The Walled Garden at Teasses House is an early 19th century brick structure located to the east of the main house. Originally designed to be oval in shape, only the northern segment of the garden remains today. There is a double range of glasshouses to the north, which were not present on the 1854 Ordnance Survey map and are currently in a derelict condition as of 1991. The garden features elaborate mid to late 19th century wrought-iron gates at both the north and south entrances, designed with half-height pointed, segment-headed arched openings.
