Description

The Orchard Vaults and Bee Boles in Ceres likely date from the late 18th century and appear to be unfinished. The structure features rough ashlar walls and is situated on a sloping site. It has a central terrace with a central transe and vaulted chambers on either side, each with two windows and a central door. The openings are pointed, and there are triplicated Roman Doric pilasters at each end.
