Description
St John's Lodge in Ceres is a symmetrical, two-storey building dating from 1765. It features five windows and is constructed from coursed droved rubble with margins. The entrance has a wide, evidently re-used pedimented doorpiece flanked by fluted Ionic pilasters, and there is a forestair at the north gable. The building has pantiled roofing, a moulded eaves course, and skewputts. There is also a later single-storey stable wing, which is pantiled as well. The property has been restored.
