Description
27A Nicolson Square in Edinburgh is a building dating from around 1765 to 1770. It is three stories tall and constructed of rubble with painted margins. The façade features two windows and a centrally placed arched window with keyblocking at an intermediate level between the first and second floors. There is a Roman Doric column doorpiece with a simple fanlight, which is not aligned with the windows above, located in the right-hand bay at the intermediate level between the ground and first floors. The building is topped with a cornice and blocking course, and it has a gabled slated roof.
