Description

The mortuary chapel of the Earls of Moray, located at Donibristle House, dates back to 1731. The building is oblong in shape and constructed from ashlar with rusticated margins. It is currently roofless and features pedimented ends. The entrance is located on the west side and has a panel above it that includes an inscription and the date. Inside, the newel of the wheel-stair is inscribed with the words "Founded and finished by Mr. Alexander McGill, architect."
