47-49 Kinghorn Road, Burntisland

47-49 Kinghorn Road in Burntisland is an early 19th-century, two-storey terraced house with an attic, now converted into flats and altered at the rear. The building features droved ashlar stone with stone cills, a base, and an eaves course.

The south elevation is symmetrical, showcasing a deep-set door with a plate glass fanlight at the center, flanked by windows. The first floor has regular fenestration, with piend-roofed canted dormer windows on either side.

The north elevation has its ground floor obscured. It includes a central stair window with first-floor windows to the right and left, and a modern tile-hung, flat-roofed dormer that spans the full width of the building.

The dormers have plate glass glazing in sash and case windows, while the ground and first floors feature uPVC windows. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with cans and ashlar coped skews.

Boundary walls consist of a low saddleback coped, harled wall to the south, and coped rubble walls to the north, east, and west.
