39, 41 And 43 Kinghorn Road, Burntisland

39, 41 and 43 Kinghorn Road in Burntisland is a later 19th-century, two-storey house with an attic that has been converted into flats. It is part of an irregular terrace and features a pedimented doorcase with decorative acroteria. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar stone, with long and short quoins, a band course, an eaves cornice, and a coped blocking cornice. The windows are architraved and have stone mullions.

On the south elevation, there is a panelled door with a plate glass fanlight located to the outer right, which has been altered from a window. To the left, there is an adjacent pedimented doorcase that has also been converted to a window. The bay to the left contains a bipartite window. The first floor features a window to the right of centre and a bipartite window to the left. Above, there are two gabled ashlar dormer windows that break the eaves parapet and are topped with gablet finials.

The timber sash and case windows have a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with polygonal cans and ashlar coped skews.

The property is enclosed by a low saddleback coped ashlar boundary wall to the south, and there is a pathway made of black and white mosaic tiles featuring a Greek key border.
