Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay house converted to flats, in irregular terrace on ground falling to S. Pedimented doorcase with acroteria. Polished ashlar with long and short quoins, large base course, band course and cornice blocking course; architraved windows and stone mullions.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: flight of 6 steps lead to deep-set panelled door with plate glass fanlight at centre, full-height, corniced canted window to right, window to left and panelled door with plate glass fanlight in single storey flat-roofed secondary entrance to outer left; regular fenestration at 1st floor; flat-roofed dormer window above at centre with piend-roofed dormer windows over flanking bays.

Plate glass glazing in sash and case windows, modern windows at 1st floor and in flat-roofed dormer. Grey slates. Coped ashlar stacks with polygonal cans, ashlar coped skews.

BOUNDARY WALL AND RAILINGS: low saddleback coped ashlar boundary wall to S. Decorative cast-iron railings at main entrance.
