Description
Brae Cottage at Feddinch Mains is an earlier 19th-century building. The northern end, known as No 1, is a single-storey structure made of rubble, featuring two doors and four windows on the south side. It has a piended pantiled roof with a central harled stack and an additional stack to the west. Nos 2 and 3, located at the southern end and dating from around 1860, form a U-plan with later harled wings at the rear. This section is also single-storey, constructed from whin boulder rubble with ashlar dressings. It has two doors and six windows on the east side, one of which is blocked, and two windows at the north end. At the rear, there are doors in the angles and three windows, with the central one having been a door previously. The roof is pantiled, with stacks made of brick and rubble, some of which are harled.
