Description
The building is a single-storey sawmill from the early 19th century, constructed from rubble. The western half features cartsheds supported by two circular timber columns, along with a former cottage that has a central door opening and two windows, all covered with pantiles, and there are outshots at the west end. The eastern half includes a cottage door and two windows (one of which is modern) along with a hatch on the north elevation. The south elevation has six windows (one bipartite) and a door, while there is one window in the gable. The building has straight end skews and three stacks, topped with a slated roof. Most of the glazing is original.
