Description

Christ Church Episcopal Church, located on Kerse Lane in Falkirk, was designed by Sir R Rowland Anderson and built between 1863 and 1864. This church features an early pointed architectural style and is constructed from freestone rubble with red banding. The building has a four-bay nave that includes a northwest porch, an apsidal chancel, and a two-bay opening to the south transept. At the junction of the nave and chancel, there is a bellcote. A later addition is the west vestry. Inside, the church is lined with brick that is yellow banded with red. Notable interior features include a metal screen from 1895 and a modern reredos.
