Description

Lloyds Tsb Scotland, located on High Street in Falkirk, was originally built in 1896 and reconstructed by James G Callander in 1926. This building showcases Victorian Renaissance architecture. It features a two-storey facade with five windows facing High Street, arched openings, and a channelled ground floor. At either end, there are pedimented doorpieces, while the centre of the first floor is adorned with a Corinthian pilaster order from 1896. Additionally, there is a one-window splayed angle and a lower two-storey elevation facing Cow Wynd, which was added in 1926.
