Description

St James The Less Episcopal Church, located on Inverleith Row in Goldenacre, Edinburgh, was designed by Sir R Rowand Anderson in 1888. The church features a second pointed style and is constructed of red rubble. It includes a nave with a south aisle and a chancel, along with an unfinished southeast tower. The chancel is notable for its important mural scheme created by William Hole. The chancel fittings were designed by J J Burnet in 1894, while the screen was crafted by Burnet Son and Dick in 1921, with sculpture work by Gilbert Bayes.
