Description
Parsonage House is an early 19th century, two-storey detached house located at 15 High Street in Musselburgh. The house is set back from the street behind a high walled garden, which features a narrow foot gate and a carriage gate positioned between entablatured gatepiers topped with urns. Both gates are original iron and have arrow-headed designs.
The house has three windows across its front and a central doorpiece that is corniced. It has a ridge slate roof with end stacks. The exterior is made of coursed rubble with raised window margins and an eaves course. The windows have been reglazed with double pane sashes. The property is further characterized by tall gatepiers and the surrounding garden walls.
