The Hollies, High Street, Auchenblae

The Hollies is an early 19th century, two-storey house located on High Street in Auchenblae. It features a gable end facing the street and is constructed of ashlar stone with raised cills. The front has three windows and a central four-panelled door that is sheltered by a bracketed lean-to roof. The ground and first floor windows on the east gable are original 12-pane sashes, while the ground floor front windows are 4-pane sashes. The house has a slated roof with straight skews, moulded ends, and ashlar chimney stacks. Surrounding the property is a rubble garden wall topped with stone coping, along with original early 19th century railings that have spear and iron finials. The entrance is marked by ashlar gatepiers that feature cornices and decorative balls.
