Description
Sycamore House is an early 19th-century house located on Church Street in Bathford. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a double Roman tiled roof that is set behind a parapet with a cornice. The building has three storeys and is arranged in three bays. There are later additions of one-storey canted bays that include the porch, all under a continuous parapet. The windows on the lower floors are 18-pane glazing bar sash windows arranged in a 1-2-1 pattern, while the upper floors have 16-pane glazing bar sashes. The entrance features a panelled door. Surrounding the property is a coped rubble boundary wall approximately four feet high, with ashlar gatepiers. There is also a wrought iron gate and an overthrow with a lantern.
