Description
This is a mid-18th century stable block, originally belonging to Eagle House (No. 23), and now used as a separate house. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a hipped slate roof and a coved cornice. The building is seven bays wide, with the central three bays slightly projecting and topped by a pediment featuring an acorn finial and a wind vane. A circular window is set within the pediment’s tympanum. The windows are 2-light casements, with one featuring a stone mullion. There is a central plank door, flanked by blocked elliptical arch openings, which now contain modern windows and doors.
