Description
The Bruce Fountain, located on High Street in Auchenblae, was built in 1910 and features a unique design inspired by the work of architect Thomson. The fountain is made of granite and has a square plan. It is raised on two steps and supported by four columns with diagonally angled bases. These columns hold up a simple entablature that has incised pedimental features. Above this, there is a circular drum surrounded by a peristyle of six small columns. The fountain also includes a scroll inscription.
