Description
This mid 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house is located at 2 Law Road in North Berwick. The building is constructed of random rubble and has been rendered and lined to resemble ashlar at the front. It features painted margins and raised cills, as well as rusticated quoins at the southern angle.
On the east elevation, there is a central doorway topped with a consoled cornice, and an altered window to the left. To the right, there is a small window at ground level. The south gable has two bays, with a concrete forestair added in 1956 and a window that has been altered to serve as a doorway.
The house displays a variety of glazing patterns and has plain skews with a gable head stack on the west side. The roof is pantiled, and there is a random rubble garden wall to the south.
