Huntlaw

Huntlaw is an early 19th-century farmhouse that stands two storeys high and features three bays, along with a single-storey wing. The building is constructed from pink sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and has an eaves course. On the south elevation, there is a central doorway with a decorative fanlight and a panelled door, flanked by windows in the outer bays on the ground floor and in each bay on the first floor. The single-storey wing has a piend roof and a window on the outer left side. The north elevation includes a later stair block with a catslide roof that projects at the centre and is harled, with first-floor windows on either side. There is also a later lean-to addition at ground level to the right. The east elevation has two windows on the ground floor and two on the first floor, featuring a 12-pane glazing pattern in the sash and case windows. The piend roofs are covered with grey slates, and there are droved ashlar end stacks that are raised in brick. Additionally, there is a rubble coped retaining wall.
