North Pavilion, The Manor House, Inveresk Village Road, Inveresk

The North Pavilion at The Manor House on Inveresk Village Road is an earlier 18th century structure that has been converted for residential use. It features white painted harl with ashlar dressings. This pavilion is one of a pair of ogivally-roofed pavilions that were originally identical and has a rectangular plan. The forestair has been removed, and there are two windows on the southeast elevation on both floors, as well as one window on the first floor and another on the ground floor at the southwest. The roof is made of grey slate with scalloped lead flashings, and there is a wallhead stack.

Adjoined to the northwest is a stable and hayloft, which has a rectangular plan and a catslide addition to the northeast. This structure is connected to a retaining wall where a blocked segmental carriage arch indicates a former entrance. The southwest elevation features irregular windows, and there are small-pane glazing patterns in both sash and case windows and fixed pane windows.
