27 Inveresk Village Road, Inveresk

27 Inveresk Village Road is an 18th-century, two-storey irregular terraced pair, connected to the south by a single-storey terrace. The openings have been altered and enlarged at various times, and the exterior is finished in orange harling.

Number 27 is narrower than number 29 and has an irregular layout. It features a narrow doorway on the right with a tall window above it, a narrow window to the left, and two regular windows to the outer left. There is also a small first-floor window located under the eaves. A lean-to garage from Rose Court is attached to the north gable.

Number 29 has three regular, widely spaced bays. The central doorway is flanked by windows, with small first-floor windows above each bay. The sash and case windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern. The steeply pitched roofs are covered with brown pantiles, and the building has ashlar coped end skews, with harled ends and mutual gable stacks.
