Description

Circa 1904. Angel-topped memorial fountain to John Fletcher of Saltoun (1827-1903), sited on island at road junction. Portland stone

(?). Set-off vermiculated base bearing octagonal dais with bronze plague and inscriptions; decorative half, drinking bowls to N and S sides, and tap to W; squat octagonal shaft above bearing Fletcher coat-of-arms on E side; 3 classically draped angels with "Allelulia" sashes crowning.
