4 Duke Street, Belhaven, Dunbar

4 Duke Street in Belhaven, Dunbar, is a mid-18th century, two-storey, three-bay house that includes a single-storey, two-bay cottage on its west side. The building is constructed of random rubble with painted margins, featuring possibly later chamfered arrises on the entrance elevation at the ground floor. It has a panelled door with a narrow fanlight above. The second window bay of the adjoining cottage was originally a doorway.

On the south rear elevation, the windows have been altered, and there is a central stair window. The roof is piended and covered with pantiles, and there are brick stacks at each end. Additionally, there is a single-storey outbuilding, which was formerly a cottage, located at the southwest corner of the garden at the rear. This outbuilding has gables to the north and south, with a truncated brick chimney.
