Description
A row of two adjacent farm cottages, dating from the late 19th century, forming a block of four with the adjacent pair. The cottages are single-storey with attics and each has three bays. They are constructed of roughly squared and snecked rubble stone with grey ashlar dressings, rubble sides and rear. Each cottage has a central doorway flanked by ground-floor windows. Two wooden, flat-roofed dormers are set into the attic, each containing a bipartite window in the outer bays. The end gables are blank, and there are few alterations visible on the rear elevation, which faces a row of outhouses. The windows are sash and case, with four panes of glass at ground level and eight panes in the dormers. The roof is covered with red pantiles and features rendered end and mutual stacks. The statutory address covers numbers 3 to 6 Prora Farm Cottages.
