Description
A row of two adjacent farm cottages, dating to the late 19th century, stands as two blocks of two cottages. Each block has three bays and a single storey, with an attic space. The construction uses roughly squared and snecked rubble stone, with grey ashlar dressings, rubble sides, and a rubble rear. Each cottage has a central doorway, flanked by windows at ground level, and two flat-roofed dormers in the attic, each containing a bipartite window in the outer bays. The end gables are blank, and there are few alterations visible on the rear elevation, which faces a row of outhouses. The windows are sash and case style, with four panes of glazing at ground level and eight panes in the dormers. The roof is covered with red pantiles, and there are rendered end and mutual stacks. The statutory address is Nos. 3-6 (inclusive) Prora Farm Cottages.
