Description
This is a row of two farm cottages, built in the late 19th century and located at 5 Prora Cottages, and part of the wider group of cottages numbered 3-6 at Prora Farm. The cottages are built as two blocks of two, each having three bays and an attic. The construction is of roughly squared and snecked rubble stone with grey ashlar dressings, and rubble sides and rear. Each cottage has a central door, with windows on either side at ground floor level. The attic is lit by two wooden flat-roofed dormers, each with a two-pane window in the outer bays. The end gables are blank, and alterations are minimal, mainly at the rear where they face a row of outhouses. The windows are sash and case construction with four panes at ground floor and eight panes in the dormers. A red pantile roof is topped with rendered end and mutual stacks.
