Pinkiehill, Crookston Road, Inveresk

Pinkiehill is an early 19th-century farmhouse that stands two stories tall and features three bays. The building is constructed from stugged and droved rubble, which is squared and coursed on the principal elevation, complemented by ashlar dressings. The central entrance has a deep-set doorway with a fanlight above it, flanked by windows in the adjacent bays, and there are additional windows in each bay on the first floor. At the rear elevation, there is an off-centre stair window to the left, along with windows and a door in the outer bays.

Adjoining the southwest gable at right angles are a row of single-storey cottages that line the road. The sash and case windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern, and the building is topped with grey slates and features end stacks.

The property also includes low, ashlar coped quadrant walls finished with white painted harling, along with arrowhead wrought-iron gates and railings.
