Description
East Gavin is an early 19th century farmhouse that stands two stories tall and features three bays. It has a single-storey steading that extends southeast in an L-plan layout. The northeast elevation is made of limewashed rubble, with the rest being harled. There is a central modern door and an inserted window to the left, while the remaining openings consist of 4-pane sash windows. The building is adorned with a cornice, scrolled skewputts, straight skews, corniced end stacks, and has rebuilt slate roofs.
