13 Crookston Road, Inveresk

15 Crookston Road is a later 19th century, two-storey, five-bay, symmetrical, semi-detached villa. It features a construction of roughly pointed rubble with ashlar dressings.

On the southwest elevation, there is a gabled bay at the center, which has a window on each floor. The doorways are located in the flanking bays, each with small-pane fanlights and small windows positioned under the eaves above. Each outer bay also contains a window on each floor.

The side elevations have a window on each floor in the outer east elevation, and a wallhead stack with set-offs is located at the center.

The northeast (rear) elevation includes two later, mirrored additions that are two-storey rectangular projections with piend roofs. A forestair has been added at the center at a later date.

The villa features 12-pane and small-pane glazing patterns in its sash and case windows, and it is topped with purple slates. There are end and center stacks present.

Additionally, there is a low rubble coped retaining wall made of rubble by the roadside.
