Description
40 Ravensheugh Road is a detached two-storey villa built around 1840, situated behind a dwarf walled front garden. The villa features three windows across its façade, with a central door that is flanked by one window on the left and a two-storey, three-light canted bay with a semi-prismatic roof on the right. The exterior is constructed of ashlar stone, with a channelled ground floor, a raised door margin, a band course at the first floor, and a string course at the cills of the first-floor windows. The roof is slated, with skewed gables and corniced end stacks. The windows have been reglazed and feature both single and double pane sashes.
