110, 112 North High Street, Musselburgh

110 and 112 North High Street in Musselburgh are early 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall with attics and feature a shop on the ground floor. The façade is three windows wide, constructed of painted ashlar with architraved windows and a mutulated cornice topped with a blocking course. The ground floor showcases a full-width applied timber cornice, supported by paired consoles at each end and between the shop window and stair door. Above this cornice is wrought iron brattishing, and below it is an original fluted band with rosette roundels, which continues from No 102 but is partially obscured by a modern shop fascia. Despite this, a good Victorian three-window and door shop front remains intact. The building also features two canted end piended dormers, and the windows have been reglazed with single and double pane sashes.
