Description

5 Campie Lane in Musselburgh is a pair of houses dating from the late 18th century. They are two low storeys high and feature five windows across the first floor, showcasing artisan Georgian detailing. The buildings are constructed from rubble with raised margins around the windows. On the ground floor, there are two pilastered door pieces and two later bipartite windows, while the left-hand end window has been replaced by a small shop front. The windows have been reglazed with single pane sashes. The roof is slated with straight skews, and the middle chimney stack has been rebuilt in brick.
