Description
The Masons Arms is a mid-18th century building that has undergone later alterations. It is a two-storey, four-bay house that now serves as a public house, facing northwest on sloping ground. The exterior is colour-washed with raised painted margins, and the window openings are symmetrical. The door is off-centre to the left, leading to steps down inside. The upper windows feature four-pane glazing, and there is a decorative wrought-iron trade sign bracket. The rear of the building has been altered with extensions. The roof is pantiled with slate eaves, a rendered gable, and mutual stacks.
